What to say about well known specialty – stewed savory mussels ? Those who like mussels admitt that there are no words in which they could describe a delight of mussels in a wonderful flavourful sauce! And so, so simple!

150 ml olive oil
4 garlic, cloves
2 tablespoons Bread crumbs Podravka
4 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
200 ml white wine
1 teaspoon Vegeta

  • 1 Clean and wash mussels.
  • 2 Sauté squeezed garlic, bread crumbs, parsley, wine, Vegeta and pepper in olive oil.
  • 3 Add mussels, cover and steam until they are opened.

Advice

When buying mussels please pay attention to their freshness, that is, that they are firmly closed. Mussels that are opened in their uncooked state are not fresh and are surely not recommendable for consumation.

Serving

Serve with white bread.
