1) General information

This Privacy Policy (hereinafter: Policy) describes which of your personal data we collect, how they are processed and for which purposes they are used, as well as your rights associated with your data.

Podravka d.d., Koprivnica, Ante Starčevića 32, OIB 18928523252 (hereinafter: “Podravka”, “we”, “us” or “our”) processes personal data of users of its services and visitors to the website www.vegeta.hr in accordance with the applicable regulations governing the protection of personal data (General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679).

We respect your privacy and process your personal data fairly and lawfully, solely on the basis of a valid legal ground, or according to your consent.

2) Ways and purposes of personal data processing

Promotional messages                                                          

If you would like to receive promotional messages about our products and services, you can choose to simply log in with your e-mail address in the web form without the need for registration. You can opt out of receiving promotional messages at any time by emailing us at vegeta@vegeta.hr requesting to remove you from the database of recipients or by choosing the option to withdraw your consent in the received promotional message.

Promotional prize games and prize draws

Occasionally we organize prize games and other contests. The personal data that we collect in this way is processed solely for the purpose of the prize game, i.e. the contest (e.g. publishing the name of the winner, contacting the winner, delivering the prize, etc.). To participate in a prize game or a contest we need your name, last name, e-mail, telephone number and delivery address. If required, we may request additional information that will be defined by the rules of the prize game / prize draw.

The collected data shall be deleted after the expiration of 6 months following the announcement of the winner. If you have agreed to receive promotional messages on the application form for the prize game, you can opt out of it at any time by choosing the option to withdraw your consent in the received promotional message.

If you contact us with your inquiries, we will process the given data only to provide you with the requested information.

Personal data necessary to resolve a product complaint shall be kept for 12 months of the date of its receipt in accordance with the regulations governing consumer rights.

3) Personal data recipients

Podravka will forward your personal data to other recipients solely on the basis of legal obligation, i.e. a justified requirement made by an authorised public body (e.g. courts).

If necessary, personal data will also be forwarded to trusted partners (data processing executives) for the purpose of providing user support, information system maintenance, market research or similar needs, with mandatory application of confidentiality and data protection measures.

4) Personal data protection

Collected personal data is processed with mandatory application of appropriate legal, technical, and organizational security measures to prevent any unauthorized data processing. Access to your personal data is limited to the employees who need it to provide our services. We continually educate our employees about the importance of data confidentiality and the protection of privacy and your data. We collect only the data necessary for the processing in question and we do not keep them longer than it is necessary, i.e. determined by legislation.

5) Your rights

At any time, you can request information about processing of your personal data and request to exercise the following rights:

• access to data related to you
• correction or addition of your personal data to always keep them accurate
• deletion of personal data (if there are no justified reasons for data retention)
• limitation of personal data processing, e.g. when you complain about the accuracy of personal data, and until we verify their accuracy
• withdrawal of consent for data processing (e.g. for receiving promotional messages)

In accordance with the applicable legislation governing the protection of personal data, every request / inquiry shall be resolved as soon as possible and at the latest within 30 days of its receipt.

Below are the rules and terms under which you can use the content of the website www.vegeta.hr. Please get acquainted with them before you start using the website content. In this way we will avoid any possible misunderstandings and consequences arising therefrom.

The website www.vegeta.hr (hereinafter: the Vegeta website) was launched and is edited by Podravka d.d. (hereinafter: “Podravka”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

With the first use of the Vegeta website, it is considered that you are fully familiar with these Terms, that you understand and accept them. If you do not agree with them, please do not access the website and do not use its contents. In case of any questions or ambiguities regarding the Terms of Use, please contact us.

For certain reasons, we can change the Terms of Use as well as the appearance and contents of the Vegeta website, so we ask you to occasionally review them to become familiar with possible changes. The publication of your content on the Vegeta website does not mean they represent our attitudes, opinions, that is recommendations, nor that we agree with them or support them in any way.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Contents on the Vegeta website are protected by copyright (e.g. texts, photos, drawings) and other intellectual property rights (logos, trademarks, etc.) Every user of the Vegeta website is personally responsible for respecting other users’ copyrights and other intellectual property rights related to the content available on the Vegeta website. At the moment of submission, upload or exchange of such content, every user shall establish a free, non-exclusive, spatially, substantially and temporally unlimited right of exploitation of that content and material in favour of Podravka. Based on that, we will be authorized to enforce property rights in respect of such content and material up to the maximum possible extent permitted by applicable national regulations, especially including the publication of the material on the Vegeta website in other place of our choice, inclusion of the material in actuality section, use and distribution of the material to other users, partners, and third parties for promotional and advertising purposes regardless of media, reproduction, processing, customization, full or partial display, without the need for any further consent of the user.

In case we want to obtain exclusive rights of exploitation for the content you submitted or uploaded and which is copyrighted or otherwise protected, we will arrange mutual rights and obligations with you in a special contract.

By using the Vegeta website, you agree that any content you publish or upload, we can modify, update, customize, and edit. We reserve the right, but do not commit to modifying, updating, customizing, editing, partially publishing, or using the material delivered or uploaded in various journalism tools before, that is upon its publishing on the Vegeta website.

Your warranties. When publishing or uploading content to the Vegeta website, you provide us with the following warranties regarding the content you submit, post and upload to the website:

• that you are the author of the content, i.e. the holder of the copyright and / or other intellectual property rights, and that you have the full authorisation to establish relevant rights in favour of Podravka in accordance with these Terms of Use,

• that the material is your property, that is, that you have acquired it in accordance with the law,
• that the publishing of content protected by a copyright or other intellectual property right in any form will in no way violate the rights of third parties, including in particular copyright and other intellectual property rights, reputation, honour and dignity, the right to privacy and other personality rights of third parties,
• that the use of these contents in accordance with the Terms of Use will not cause any damage, material or immaterial, to us, other users or third parties,
• that your copyright, or other intellectual property rights, are not limited in favour of a third party,
• that the content is complete, true, and accurate to your best knowledge.

You hereby agree that you will take upon yourself any possible claims for compensation against Podravka as a result of your violation of the above warranties and that you will compensate Podravka and other damaged users and third parties for all damages and expenses incurred due to the violation of the above warranties. Podravka undertakes to notify you without delay of filing any claim for compensation due to the violation of the above warranties.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES

Contents that users directly send, post, or upload to the Vegeta website in any form are exclusively provided "as is", that is, "as available" and we assume no liability for any possible consequences, including any damage that may be caused to other users or third parties, and which may arise from a different interpretation of the content on the Vegeta website.

Despite the reasonable efforts we make, Podravka d.d. does not warrant that this website, i.e. all of its content, will always be accessible and available and will not contain any errors and computer programs that could cause damage to other users or third parties (e.g. viruses, worms, etc.).

To the greatest extent permitted by applicable legal regulations, we exclude liability for:

• any damages caused to users or third parties as a result of posting prohibited content on the website and other content that is contrary to the Terms of Use by users, third parties, sponsors, advertisers, etc.,
• any damages that users or third parties cause or endure in connection with the use of the Vegeta website, particularly in the case of misuse, destruction or damage to content or functionality, misuse of user accounts, etc.,
