Winning the prestigious CROPAK award, based on consumer assessments in seven different categories, is confirmation that the Croatian consumers have recognised the quality and excellent redesign of the packaging completed at the end of 2015.
In addition to winning a CROPAK for Vegeta, Podravka also received two recognitions for its packaging solutions for Delikates pate and Čokolino children's food.
For the 13th consecutive year, the Packaging and Printing Institute, Tectus - IatT, from Zagreb has organised the packaging festival entitled FEST.A CROPAK. This is a gathering of professional events intended for packaging users and producers in Croatia and the region, designers, printers and all those related in any way to packaging as a very demanding and complex product.
A new category was introduced this year – the CROPAK Consumer's Choice. The criteria for assessment included general impression, information provided, readability of information and symbols, ergonomics (ease of opening and closing, ease of handling…), design, brand recognisability and the ability of the packaging to attract one to purchase the product.
In cooperation with the renowned market research agency Hendal d.o.o., Zagreb, the nominated packaging solutions in the category CROPAK Consumer's Choice was assessed by consumers in Osijek, Rijeka, Split and Zagreb, based on the expert market research methodology and set criteria.
