Rice is an unavoidable ingredient in Chinese cuisine. This simple preparation of rice can perfectly tie in with meat recipes, sauces or even on its own, e.g. fried with other vegetables.

150 g round grain rice
250 - 300 ml water
1 teaspoon Vegeta Gourmet Stock Powder

  • 1 Place the rice in some cold water, and then leave to cook.
  • 2 Add Vegeta Gourmet Stock Powder to the boiling water and then reduce the heat and keep cooking for another 10 minutes. (If all the water has not evaporated, drain the excess)

Advice

If you have rice left over you can also fry it for a few minutes in hot oil and onion, the next evening.

Serving

Serve with various meat dishes as well as different sauces.
